Course Design

This course design is (4) weeks, five days per week.

Each Student can expect at least 44 hours of behind the

wheel driving time during yard, street and over the

road training.

  • 1st  week - 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • 2nd week - 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • 3rd  week - 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • 4th  week - 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

  • Alley Dock Backing

  • Shifting

  • Double Clutching

  • Turns

  • Uphill - Downhill

  • Ramps

  • Lane Changes

  • Space Management

  • State Class A skills Test

      Individuals must:

  • Be able to read and write the English language.

  • Be at least 18 years of age (21 and above is optimum).

  • Be able to meet the DOT Physical requirements.

  • Have a valid driver's license.

  • High School Diploma not required.
